Marcello Arletti was born in 1963 in Piacenza, after completing his studies he graduated from the State Artistic High School of Art in Bologna and then embarked on the profession of Graphics and Visual Communication. Activity that still carries out in Bologna, the city where he lives and works.
In 1996 he began to paint attracted by light and the emotions it generates, he began a phase of study and experimentation on reflections and transparencies typical of the ray of light.
REFLECTIONS are images that
reflect perceptions and aspects of
contemporary living. They are painted
constructed by superimposing a series of
glazes with transparent pigment on
polished laminated aluminium.
The idea of seeing color in transparency,
thanks to the reflected light beam
specularly from the metal placed behind
to the pigment, is an amplifier of
visibility and chromatic vivacity.
REFLECTIONS is to see the color of
pigment in transparency, using the
ambient light reflected by aluminum
glossy laminate.
