Mangione Davide

He works in the fields of painting, illustration, graphics, poetry, music. He taught, as "Subject Expert", at the chair of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari and now as a professor of Art in secondary school. He participated in the “Talking Benches” project, with the support of the Bari culture department and the Bari Academy of Fine Arts, for urban redevelopment with one of his street art works on the “Lungomare Nazario Sauro” in Bari. Author of the “Pink Bench” created for the association “A room for a smile Odv” and donated to the town of Gravina in Puglia as a symbol of solidarity and hope. Author of the mural “Madonna della stella”, a public work created in the municipality of Gravina in Puglia with the “Street Art” project - The Invisible City - of the Municipality of Gravina, financed by the Puglia Region. He has many contemporary art exhibitions to his credit with catalogs and publications in specialized magazines. Author of illustrations for novels, short stories, collections of poems and fairy tales by Italian and foreign authors. He published the collection of poems “L'ombra dei dream” with the publishing house “Il grillo editore”; The illustrated book “The Death of the Water Lilies” freely inspired by Serge Latouche's theory of degrowth, presented at the “Cento Scale” festival in Potenza by S.Latouche; The illustrated book “Fiabe Raccontate da Raccontare” with the support of MiBAC, SIAE, MINISTRY FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE AND ACTIVITIES, as part of the “Sillumina” initiative.
